05 Feb RockReef on Bournemouth Pier hosts MyTime Young Carers Awareness Day!
RockReef indoor climbing activity attraction on Bournemouth Pier hosted the MyTime Young Carers activity day in support of Young Carers Awareness Day which took place last week on Thursday 30th of January.
The aim of the Young Carers Awareness Day is to draw attention to the difficulties faced by young carers and provide an opportunity for them to have a day of fun, friendship and enjoyment!
To mark the national awareness day, RockReef opened its doors to 100 children across 8 local schools to enjoy a day of fun, adventure filled activities! The children got to challenge themselves on all the 28 climbing walls and walk the High Line aerial obstacle course, with some attempting the activity blindfolded!
RockReef were very happy to support such an important day for the Young Carers in the local area. A highlight for the team was seeing many happy smiling faces!
