Amusement Arcade

The Amusement arcade is operated by the BCP council.

Open every day between 10am and 10pm*

*May be subject to change due to levels of trade.

Fishing

From June through to September expect to find Bass, Smoothhound, Mullet, Mackerel, Garfish, Gurnard, Bream, Scad, Ray, Dogfish, Soles and Flounders. In the Winter you will see Place, Codling and Whiting. Due to the popularity of the pier during Summer, it is recommended to fish early in the morning or late in the evening preferably on an incoming tide.

Directions

By Road

From the A338 Wessex Way follow the brown signs to the beaches or Bournemouth International Centre (BIC).

Parking

The closest pay and display car parks are just a few minutes walk to Key West. BCP Council has a webpage that lists the local car parks. The closest car parks are: Bath Road North & South Car Parks – 0.2 miles, BIC Car Park – 0.2 miles, Winter Gardens Car Park – 0.3 miles, Beacon Road Car Park – 0.3 Miles, Eden Glen Car Park – 0.3 Miles.

By Coach

Coaches can drop passengers off in the turning area next to the Bournemouth International Centre (BIC), a short two-minute walk from Bournemouth Pier.

By Rail

The closest railway station is Bournemouth Train Station – 1.5 miles away

By Air

The closest airport is Bournemouth International Airport – 6.5 miles away

Accessibility

Bournemouth Pier is flat and accessible by wheelchairs. The main entrances to RockReef Activity Attraction and Key West Bar & Grill are on ground level and have small ramps. Both entrances have wide double doors.

Toilets are on the ground floor in both buildings and there is also a disabled toilet located on the East side of the pier.  Baby changing facilities are available.

Assistance dogs are welcome on Bournemouth Pier. All dogs should be kept on leads at all times. Water bowls are provided on request in Key West Bar & Grill. Key West also are a dog-friendly restaurant and are welcome at any time.

The RockReef Café is on the first floor and only accessible via steps. There is a small viewing and seating area on the ground floor if you wish to not take part in RockReef activities.

RockReef café and Key West Bar & Grill strive to meet all dietary requirements with their menu options.
