It has been a long time coming, but Cheeky Little Monkey is finally returning to Bournemouth! Initially not expecting huge interest, the 25th Birthday Reunion itself was going to be held in Key West. After the phenomenal response this has had to be moved to a much larger venue, that event is taking place in April 2024.
But the Monkeys were still wanting a nostalgic close-up and personal party on Bournemouth Pier. A plan was hatched and we are now holding the 25th Birthday Reunion Official Warm Up Party at Key West.
You’ll be taken on a progressive tempo journey through funky house, tough funky house to funky Hardhouse. DJ Jody Osman will be steering the ship and introducing his younger brother Jake, there will be a Special Guest DJ and a Vinyl DJ Mash Up involving the numerous local DJs who were influenced by Cheeky Little Monkey back in the day.

It has been a long time coming, but Cheeky Little Monkey is finally returning to Bournemouth! Initially not expecting huge interest, the 25th Birthday Reunion itself was going to be held in Key West. After the phenomenal response this has had to be moved to a much larger venue, that event is taking place in April 2024.
But the Monkeys were still wanting a nostalgic close-up and personal party on Bournemouth Pier. A plan was hatched and we are now holding the 25th Birthday Reunion Official Warm Up Party at Key West.
You’ll be taken on a progressive tempo journey through funky house, tough funky house to funky Hardhouse. DJ Jody Osman will be steering the ship and introducing his younger brother Jake, there will be a Special Guest DJ and a Vinyl DJ Mash Up involving the numerous local DJs who were influenced by Cheeky Little Monkey back in the day.

At a cost of £2,600 the new Bournemouth Pier was opened by the Lord Mayor of London in August 1880
Consisting of an open promenade, it stretched to a length of 838 ft (255.4 m) and spanned some 35 ft (10.6 m) across the neck of the pier, extending to 110 ft (33.3 m) at the head.
Two extensions, in 1894 and 1909 respectively, took the pier’s overall length to more than 1000 ft (304.8 m). The theatre on the pier closed in 2014 and it was converted in to an all year all weather activity attraction ‘RockReef’
