Q. Do I have to pay to get on the pier?

The council operates a pier toll from 4th April until 28th October 2022 for entrance to Bournemouth Pier. The charge is £1.30 per person for a ticket for adults, £0.90 for children (5+) and £4.20 for a family pass.

This is valid for the full season if you keep your ticket (except the Air Festival dates).

If you pre-book a table at Key West Bar & Grill or pre-book a RockReef activity you can show your confirmation for free access to the pier toll. Children under 16 with a RockReef ticket will be allowed to have one accompanying adult access to the pier for free. This is only for pre-booked tickets. RockReef and Key West can not refund the pier toll cost for tickets bought on the door.
