FAQs

Q. Do I have to pay to get on the pier?

The council operates a pier toll from April until October for entrance to Bournemouth Pier. The charge is £1.20 per person for a ticket for adults, £0.80 for children (5+) and £3.80 for a family pass.

This is valid for the full season if you keep your ticket (except the air festival dates).

If you pre book a RockReef activity you can show your confirmation for free access to the pier toll. Children under 16 with a ticket will be allowed to have one accompanying adult access to the pier for free. This is only for pre booked tickets. RockReef can not refund the pier toll cost for tickets bought on the door.
